<p>We are looking for an experienced ETL developer/ System Integration specialist to work with the team of experts studying the business processes of the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine regarding the collection, exchange, processing, analysis, and use of data related to HIV, conduct a comprehensive analysis of existing information systems and data related to HIV in Ukraine.</p> <p>The purpose is to design and implement ETL processes for efficient data integration, transformation, and loading to support business analytics and reporting.</p> <p>Objectives</p> <ul><li>Develop ETL workflows to extract data from source systems.</li><li>Transform data to meet business and technical requirements.</li><li>Load transformed data into the target data warehouse or database.</li><li>Ensure data quality, consistency, and security throughout the ETL process.</li><li>Provide documentation and training for ETL operations.</li></ul> <p>Scope of Work</p> <ul><li>Collect and document business, technical, and data requirements for ETL.</li><li>Identify and analyze data sources, formats, and access protocols.</li><li>Architect ETL workflows, including extraction, data cleansing, transformation logic, and loading strategies.</li><li>Build ETL pipelines using agreed-upon tools and technologies.</li><li>Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to validate ETL functionality and data accuracy.</li><li>Migrate ETL processes to production environment and execute initial loads.</li><li>Prepare technical documentation and user guides for ETL processes.</li><li>Conduct training sessions for relevant stakeholders and provide post-deployment support.</li></ul> <p>Deliverables</p> <ul><li>ETL requirements documentation</li><li>ETL workflow and architecture diagrams</li><li>Developed ETL scripts and jobs</li><li>Testing reports and data validation results</li><li>Deployment plan and execution report</li><li>Technical and user documentation</li><li>Training materials and session records</li></ul> <p>Candidate Requirements</p> <ul><li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an ETL developer, preferably within healthcare, public health, or international projects</li><li>Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field</li><li>Strong understanding of data management principles, system analysis, and data quality assessment methodologies</li><li>Experience with healthcare or social sector information systems is highly desirable</li><li>Proficiency in visualizing and presenting complex information through reports, diagrams, and maps</li><li>Experience in systems integration</li><li>Proficiency in database management systems, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Deep understanding of data architecture principles, APIs, interoperability, security, and personal data protection</li></ul> <p>Advantages:</p> <ul><li>Experience with eHealth systems, DHIS2, OpenMRS, or similar platforms</li><li>Knowledge of the Ukrainian context in the field of digital health</li></ul>
